Workshop No 1: "24 hours Activity Monitoring: Getting into compositional analysis"

In this workshop, delegate will be introduced to the use compositional analysis technique to analyse 24 hours activity data including, MVPA, light activity, sleep and sedentary behaviour simultaneously. The workshop will show how easy this is and overview where and how to start to use these techniques on their own data. The presenter will show how to obtain simple descriptive statistics for 24 hours activity, graphical representation and how linear models can account for the whole 24 hour of activity. This workshop is open to all delegates.
Thematic workshops will be designed to cover all congress sub-themes while including several cross-cutting issues and sub-themes. Participants will be engaged in targeted workshops that allow for promoting and enhancing opportunities for knowledge transfer, skills development, as well as collaborative learning.
Workshop No 2: "Experiences of Promoting Physical Activity in Singapore"

Presenter: Dr Robert Sloan, Kagoshima University, Japan.
This workshop will share personal experiences and observations from working within the Ministry of Health and with stakeholders over a period of years to progress the national agenda on physical activity. Singapore has made great progress and lessons and strategies that worked in the Asian context will be discussed with participants. This workshop is open to all delegates.
